full length vs 3/4 length orthoticsI've had a pair of 3/4 length orthotics for a few years now. They help, but it is incredibly hard to find shows that work with them. Several people have told me that with full-length orthotics you can just take the padding out of a pair of shoes and put the orthotic in. I'm still confused about the best route to go and if I would need two different pairs of full-length orthotics - one for sneakers and one for dressier shoes. Any thoughts, recommendations?
Re: full length vs 3/4 length orthoticsI've had both 3/4 and full length orthotics, and by far, I have found the full length orthotics to be easier when tryiong to buy shoes. You need to find shoes that allow you to pull the liner out, so make sure your full length orthotic has a padded or soft area for the balls of your feet and toes. They are harder to put into shoes, but it's worth the effort in my opinion. As far as multiple pairs, I would suggest it if the money isn't an issue.
