Foot and leg painHello,I'am 42 years old and for the last 15 years I've had chronic foot and leg pain.I've went to multiple doctors and podietrist for help and all they keep coming up with is the use of orthotics As they do help a little I'am still in pain most of the day.I've had four sets of orthotics in the last 15 years, but nothing seems to relief the pain.I've had MRI's,nerve test and an assortment of other test, but they cant find anything wrong and they keep going back to the orthotics. With the use of the orthotics you can see some diffrents,so I do believe it is something in the mechanics of my feet, but they give me very slight relieve.I'am looking for any information they would help with the pain in my feet and legs,as in alterntive medicine or thearapys. After 15 years of walking in pain everyday I'am looking for any help.
Re: Foot and leg painWhile certainly orthotics have helped a little and it sounds like you've seen many of the specialists I can think of like (neurologist, orthopedic back, chiropracter, pain specialist, etc.). In terms of alternative medicine, you may wanna try to see a licensed acupuncturist. They may be able to temporarily relieve your discomfort and also may prescribe an assortment of herbs and vitamins thay may help. I wish you the best and hope this is of some help.
