Post a new topicby westernmass on Wed Aug 06, 2008 12:18 pm

I think I hace seld diagnosed myself with Mortons Neuroma I need to see a dr I know for an accurate DX, but upon finding this forum and the topic of Cryogenics, I am wondering how to find a health care provider that performs this treatment. Any idea? I just want to go to the right person the 1st time if possible.

I don't know why no one has responded to your question. The website to go to is [moderator note: website address has been removed]. Let me know if you do well with the cryo.

Hello, this is a forum moderator responding. Although I don't have a direct answer to your question, HC's DPMLocator may be used to help you find a qualified podiatrist in a community near you:

Although DPMLocator lists many podiatrists, it does not include all. Thank you for participating in the forum, and I wish you the best in finding answers to your medical questions.

Don't get too excited about this relatively new procedure as I have been told that it is only about 80% effective. I had it done about three weeks ago, had some pain for a week and then none for about another week. I am about three weeks out from the procedure with new orthodics and it may have to be done again, as I am having the same pain as before since getting the new orthodics, but now it is every day instead of coming and going every few days. I will keep you informed about my progress and if it will actually help the second time.
