I Have read your article regarding Morton's Neuroma. I have been diagnosed with it. I started getting pain and swelling in my left foot, the neuroma has disfigured my toes, and left me in a lot of pain and discomfort. I could not even put a bed sheet over the foot without being in agony. For the last week i have had no feeling in it.I saw my consultant last week and he informed me the nerve in my toe had no feeling and thats what has deformed the toe. My consultant has informed me that i need an operation to correct the foot every toe, side of the foot ,pad of the foot needs to be corrected. I was also told that the condition was now in my right foot and that i will need surgery to correct it within 6 months of the left foot. I have had to resign from work due to ill health. I have had oedema for over a year now in my legs. ankles and feet, i was told by my consultant that this was a contribution to the condition i have now. If i do not have the corrective surgery my feet will deform, and widen further, and will have difficulty finding footwear to fit. My consultant will not operate untill i get results of an auto immune disease i may have.
