Morton's Neuroma

Hi,
I had a Mortons Neuroma removed from my left foot about 10 years ago, I have just had a second operation as the pain came back again. I am now 3 months post op and the pain is back yet again. Dr thinks that my surgery has failed. Does anyone else have the pain back when their foot gets hot or have to wear boots. I have to wear lace up boots for work and it gets really sore when my foot heats up.
