Ingrown toenail surgury failure

What options do you have if surgury done 3 times has not stopped the growth of the toenails? We have struggled with infected toes for over a year and a half and it is getting very frustrating. Our Podiatrist is frustrated too.

Surgically removing the nail matrix with sharp intrumentation versus chemicals almost always stops the nail from growing. If this has been tried and did not work, you may want to ask about the doctor using a laser to kill the nail matrix. Have a nice day and good luck.
