REALLY Good Heel Pain Reliever & More Info1st) REALLY GOOD HEEL PAIN RELIEVER THAT I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT EIGHT MONTHS AGO...Biofreeze! It's a topical analgesic that does not numb the skin. Instead, after being rubbed onto the area, it works very quickly (and temporarily) to rid the pain, inflamation, and decrease the swelling. This stuff is amazing! You can get it at most pharmacies, physical therapist's offices, chiropractors, podiatrists, etc. I keep it on my night stand, in my purse, and in my classroom.
2) I had special orthotic inserts made at a whopping $400 out of my pocket and it was a very bad and costly decision, but I was desperate! I wore them exactly as instructed by my podiatrist with the result of having a whole new set of foot problems that had to be treated by my physical therapist My PT told me to quit wearing them immediately because the intense pain and swelling were not going to go away. The last time my ankles swelled like that was ten yrs ago when I was preg; the swelling spilled over my shoes after 1 1/2 wks of NOT wearing the expensive inserts. I was miserably hobbling along! After my podiatrist pressured me into buying $400 orthotics, my PT told me she could make inserts that are just as good (refundable, too) for $75. She said I could try them out and if I didn't like them, I could return them for a full refund! Something to keep in mind. I went back to my podiatrist who said he wasn't sure why the orthotics would cause my foot to swell to such a degree and be so painful around the inside ankle. He said he would try adjusting them and I can pick them up in a couple of wks. We'll see.
Re: REALLY Good Heel Pain Reliever & More InfoSometimes few orthotics may develop swelling over the foot and its essential for you to recheck if the problem arises due to orthotics or some other reasons. When you are sure of the orthotics creating problem then it is better to switch over to some other reliable product. Also see what if the podiatrist do about the issue in the mean time.
