Hammertoes/Claw Toes

I had hammertoe correction on my right foot in Feb. 2002, on my 4, 5th toe.
Also tailor bunionectomy.
It has helped a great deal.

Now Jan. 16 2003, I had hammertoe correction on all my toes ( 2,3,4,5).
I also had tailor bunionectomy, and correction on my 2,5 metarsal.
I know it was a lot done,and it's only been over a week, but my foot hurts so bad when i put it down.
I've had it elevated for over a week now, but when I get up, The pain is over bearing. How long will this last?
Is it to do with the blood flowing down to the foot?
If anybody has had this done, please let me know if you experienced this and for how long?
I never had this pain when I had my right foot done.
