clawed toes in children

Post a new topicby sole_man on Fri Mar 14, 2008 1:17 pm

I have had a lady bring her 2 children to my surgery. one is two and one id four. She is worried as they appear to have claed toes. I do not have a lot of experience in treating children and am not sure to what extent, if any the toes should be clawed. Any ideas, if this is abnormal, what treatment can I offer? Thanks a lot.

You may want to tape thetoes and try to staighten them out since it is probably a soft tissue problem.
