My surgery was on November 28th, 2007 and to tell u the truth, I stopped turning to soon, but it was about 4 weeks after the surgery and I stopped turning to soon. I then got the bar off 6 weeks after surgery. I didn't start walking until 8 weeks after my operation. I had to take physical therapy for about 2 months. and I never got rid of a small limp because I had the next surgery April 9th, 2008. I am sorry to say, I will take an extremely LONG time to recover. and you are right, it is quite painful.

wishing u a nice recovery,

Madelyn
