Numbness driving me nuts and dr??

The numbness in my foot is driving me crazy. I was told today I have tarsel tunnel. I found my docotr not to be very helpful.I may seek a second opionon. He basically said I have to live wiht it. He told me that i should buy compression stockings becuse im overweight and it would help release some fluid. He also said losing a few punds could help. i can agree with all this but in the meantime THIS IS terrible! I am so numb and painful. I feel like I can barley walk on it. I work on my feet alot. Should I go for a second opinion? Also and ideas for help with numbness? I would love to know any suggestions you guys have.Thanks Jenn
